How Running Can Boost Your Mood

Running provides stress relief. Running is a great way to relieve stress as it lowers levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) and boosts levels of serotonin (the happy hormone). This is a game changer for anyone who suffers from mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.

Running can improve your mood. As noted above, running increases serotonin levels, which makes you feel happier and more optimistic. Running also releases endorphins, thus decreasing anxiety, depression, and anger.
