3D Body Scanning at DrivenFit

At DrivenFit, we pride ourselves on offering our clients the latest technological advances in fitness and total body wellness. We love our gadget, the Stkyu S100 3D Body Scanner! This highly intuitive tool allows us to perform a 3D body scan in seconds using just a turntable and 3D camera. It truly tracks the effectiveness of your workouts. Learn more…

Why Use a 3D Body Scanner?

The Styku is by far the new gold standard in health assessments. No longer must we rely on the inaccuracy of weight scales to track progress!

With the 3D body scanner, we can extract millions of exact measurements (with less than 1% error!) from your waist, hip, thigh with 2 mm accuracy, and reconstruct your body in 3D…in just 35 seconds. Also, we can leverage body measurements to calculate an accurate body fat percentage.

The 3D model uses this information to highlight changes in your shape and to help set goals. Nothing is more illustrative and more motivating than to actually see your body transform!

Better yet, our 3D body scanner is completely private, and clients can be scanned in leggings, shorts, or any form-fitting clothing. From the scan, we can rotate, pan, and zoom to view stunning, interactive 3D before and after visuals.

When you want to truly see the transformation, you need to partner with a personal trainer at DrivenFit in South Tampa! You can also workout virtually through our gym app, but we haven’t quite perfected the 3D scan through your phone yet. Tech will eventually get there. The Styku Scanner is seriously one of the best benefits of our training gym. Come check it out!

The Best Training Assistant

Simply put, a 3D body scanner is a personal trainer’s best friend. Not only does it compile accurate measurements and body fat percentage, but it allows you to see the impact of your workouts…the greatest motivator of all.

As part of our personal training program, we use the Styku 3D body scanner for:

3D Model: Rotate, pan, and zoom a full body model from a body scan to visualize shape and landmarks.

Shape Analysis: Analysis of a client’s profile, silhouette, and waist-to-hip ratio

Track Progress: Chart key measurements over time, helps clients stay motivated

Fat Analysis: Offers more consistency than traditional methods such as calipers and BIA

Risk Assessment: Track your risk of obesity-related disease using measurements of waist circumference, waist-to-hip ratio, and body fat

Goal Setting: Meet fat-loss goals. 3D scans help us set goals based on desired weight loss, personal burn rate, and activity level

Dashboard: View data analysis, set preferences, and manage an account from anywhere in the world

Consistency in Routine

Whether you’re exercising to achieve a good physique, build strength, or train for a race/triathlon, consistency is key for maximum results! What’s the best way to achieve consistency? Create a workout plan and COMMIT to your routine. This is how you will achieve your fitness goals.

The two main components to attain fitness are working out and maintaining a proper diet, however, consistency is the secret sauce and requires effort, time, and dedication to see the fruits of your labor.

Why Repeat Exercises in a Routine?

Consistent training gives positive effects to the body and physical health. By repeating exercises, you develop muscles, ligaments, and tendons. These help in adjusting to the challenges and strains of your ongoing fitness regimen.

Inconsistent movements will only leave you feeling sore. Repetitive exercises, however, allow your body to get used to the strenuous workouts and compound movements.

Health Benefits of Consistency in Routine

Different types of exercises help build cardiovascular strength and flexibility as well as increase the body’s agility, endurance, and overall condition.

Here are other benefits to a consistent workout routine:

  • Controls weight by shedding excess body fat
  • Maintains weight loss
  • Slows down metabolism and helps the body burn more calories
  • Improves muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility
  • Improves mood
  • Relieves stress
  • Improves self-esteem

Falling Short of Your Fitness Goals?

Creating and maintaining a regular workout schedule while targeting key areas to rev your weight loss and toning are key. Without a consistent workout routine, your goals will take longer to reach.

It takes several weeks to start seeing the transformation in your body. It also takes weeks of strength training to grow the muscle fibers that will make you more toned and build body muscle strength. If you’re inconsistent, then the physiological changes will take longer and may not be as noticeable at first. Luckily, we have the Styku body scanner to show you the numbers in real time –can’t beat a body scan.

You’ll need to commit to a consistent routine of at least three weeks to start seeing real results. Experts say that’s about the same amount of time it takes to create a new habit. Coincidence? Our trainers don’t think so.

Have a Total Transformation at Driven + SWS

At Driven Fit + Sponaugle Wellness Studio, our sessions are not designed for entertainment – we’re here for results. A consistent routine and our intensive workout programs focus on providing you with a whole body transformation.

We believe in a whole-body approach to wellness and work with our clients every step of the way to meet their fitness goals. For additional information on our South Tampa studio, personal fitness training programs, or classes, please call/text us today at (813) 440-3016.

Trainer Tips

Still haven’t tackled that New Year’s resolution to exercise regularly and to live a healthier lifestyle?Okay, so you procrastinated but it’s not too late to get started! Fortunately, there are many ways you can still make 2019 your healthiest year yet with pro trainer tips from Driven Fit. Check it out…

Tip #1: Go in With a Positive Attitude

First things first, in order to have a successful training regiment, you need to have the right mental attitude.

Don’t look at exercise as a quick fix to improve your physical appearance, but a lifestyle change.  Set realistic goals. Once you have the true goal in mind (ex. stay healthy or live longer), your focus can shift from an ‘I want this body’ mindset. Once you accomplish those goals, set more!

Tip #2: Add Weight Training to Your Exercise Regiment

You may think that weight training will make you bulky, but combining weight training with cardio exercises, such as walking, running and biking, can help you meet your weight loss and fitness goals faster.

If you’re new to weight training, start with basic reps on lighter weights, and work your way up to heavier weights.  A great routine to start with is doing ten minutes of moderate cardio and one to two sets of weight exercises targeting different muscle groups.

Tips #3: Boost Your Metabolism

Burn some calories with high-intensity interval workout training! This type of interval workout is amazing for boosting your metabolism, which helps you to lose weight quicker.  The goal is to get your heart rate up and then take a break.

At Driven Fit, you can sprint on our True Form. You can use the Total Body Keiser Bike. You can climb the Jacobs Ladder. You can incorporate Full Body Movements. It’s all technically HIIT, as long as it’s intense and with appropriate work to rest ratios depending on if your beginner or advanced.

Please note: if you have health conditions such as heart disease, you should consult with your doctor prior to attempting high-intensity workouts.

Tip #4: Hire a Trainer

When you’re not accustomed to going to the gym regularly, it can be intimidating.  While taking classes such as yoga, Zumba, etc. can get you some support. Please keep in mind adding one-on-one attention will complement any of the above-mentioned classes by improving your muscular balance while adding customized road map.

That’s why it’s a great idea to hire a personal trainer who will get you started on the right track. Our fitness experts will work with you to make sure your routine is a good match for your body and fitness goals.

Tip #5:  Have Fun!

The best way to keep a consistent workout regimen is to have fun!  Finding ways to enjoy your exercise will help you stick to a program. Try joining a fun group class, playing a sport, or running with a group. Even just listening to your favorite music while you work out can help you stay engaged in your workout.

Make 2019 your happiest yet and improve your quality of life this year. Are you ready to get started? At Driven Fit, we offer private training as well as semi-private training and will help you get started on a workout routine that fits your fitness goals and lifestyle.
